Fishbourne Roman Palace

Fishbourne Roman Palace

Fishbourne Roman Palace

The remains of this first century AD Roman Palace were originally discovered in 1960. Situated near Chichester, the Fishbourne Palace contains Britain's largest collection of in situ Roman floor mosaics and lots of every-day objects found during the excavations are also displayed in the museum and gallery. Join a behind the scenes tour in the Collections Discovery Centre for an opportunity to handle artefacts. The gardens have been sympathetically replanted using plants that would have originally been grown there.

Plenty of free parking, cafe and gift shop. Special events held throughout the year.
