We invite you to stay at Stream House, amidst the beautiful Sussex countryside yet just a short drive to the historic towns of Hastings, Rye, Winchelsea and Battle.
Stream House provides outstanding accommodation in Sussex and has been Awarded 5* premier status for all-round excellence, by the AA. Enjoy the traditional features of our beautiful home, built in 1800, and savour our unique combination of exceptionally high quality accommodation, with a relaxed friendly atmosphere and 21st century facilities. We also have the added advantage of free parking in the privacy of our grounds.
Steam House is in the heart of East Sussex and really more like a country retreat than a bed and breakfast! Surrounded by picturesque villages and a host of popular attractions in Sussex and Kent, the house is an ideal base for exploring both the Countryside and Coast and for visiting stately homes, castles and gardens such as Bodiam, Great Dixter and Sissinghurst.
At Stream House you can of course relax without even leaving the grounds. With bluebell woods and camellias in springtime, summer roses and fragrant honeysuckle and the stunning colours of autumn, as summer fades. You are welcome to stroll around the lawns, sit and watch the fish or unwind by the stream.
Our rooms are individually designed, with relaxation in mind; we have two en-suite bedrooms and one with private bathroom. All our rooms have relaxing baths and powerful showers. Come and be pampered and see for yourself.
